MA of Mass Communication launched during SJMC week.

 In celebrating its 50th  anniversary of University of Dar es Salaam through its different colleges has been conducting  events  which aim to expose  its different activities  also to show the success which have achieved for the whole half  century. From Monday 20th of June has been a turn for School of Journalism and Mass communication. The occasion was held at SJMC ground and was honored by the Vice councilor, Prof Rwekaza Mukandala involved the launching of the masters of mass communication programme, which will be offered by University of Dar es Salaam under School of Journalism and Mass Communication.

   While presenting the opening speech, Dr Bernadette Killian the Dean of SJMC was able mention problems like accommodation to the students, little number of staff compares to the students’ population also few of resources in Mlimani media.At the same time Prof Mukandala got an opportunity to look over the activities which are done by Mlimani media.


  However the occasion was attended by the former Dean of Tanzania School of Journalism(TSJ) & Institute of Journalism and Mass Communication (IJMC) ,former students,media people and other invited guest.At the end the event was followed by Sports Bonanza which includes table tennis, chicken race, dancing and rope pulling.
